New York city is both the most populated urban city in the US - home to over 7,000 tall and large office and condo buildings that also experienced the largest number of Coronavirus cases and COVID-19 deaths in North America..
Could it be that the Coronavirus was able to spread so rapidly infecting thousands of people (who were self-isolating and sheltering in place at home - as ordered by Public Health Officials) - only to become more exposed to the Coronavirus that was transmitted through their building's central HVAC air duct systems?
After all large populated urban cities like New York City - are well known for their thousands of high-rise buildings - with majority of them being equipped with Central Air Systems that recent studies carried out by both CDC and JAMA have found that the virus is transmitted through the air duct system. So if someone in the building contracted the virus and was told to self-isolate - the air from their unit could have carried the virus to other units in the building infecting others who were socially isolating.
