This presentation explains the spectrum of "behavior addictions" and how they can manifest through various addictive tendencies, obsessive/compulsive high-risk behaviors that can exist singularly, simultaneously (by comorbidity) or adapt through "vice transference" (switching or pivoting between two or more addictions) at any given time.
Risk markers for each behavior addiction are identified to help dispel current social misconceptions that often prevent early intervention.

Creating Public Awareness About Various Personality Disorders & Safeguards Against Toxic/Abusive Individuals
SPEAKER: Remedy Max
Abusive manipulators like Narcissists and other deviant personality types use different gaslighting tactics to satiate their warped need to exercise control over how others react, think and feel. Gaslighting serves as their fuel supply whenever their victim becomes engulfed in an emotionally charged firestorm that ultimately leads some to even question their own sanity.
Audiences learn how to recognize different gaslighting traps and effective tools to avoid being baited.
SPEAKER: Remedy Max

Audiences will learn how to spot common manipulative tactics that Narcissists are famous for and how to reclaim one's sanity by cutting free from their deceptive control mechanisms.
SPEAKER: Remedy Max
All Narcissists are prone to subjecting their partners to various forms of abusive sexual behaviors. Over time sex acts tend to intensify into sexual aggression, degrading even bestial sexual acts that serve the Narcissist's sole gratification and validate the control they have over their victim.
Narcissists lack sexual empathy. Satisfying their partner emotionally or sexually is immaterial. Sex is a weapon to gain the illusion of intimacy to demean and render one helpless.
SPEAKER: Remedy Max
Fundamentals of the Narcissistic Personality Disorder and why a Narcissist can't be pleased or made happy.
Audiences learn how Narcissists are unable to differentiate between pleasure and happiness. This personality deficiency leads them to perpetually chase after the former at the expense of the latter. This leaves them feeling empty, inept and even more miserable when after harming others does not bring any lasting happiness - no matter how someone tries to appease them.
SPEAKER: Remedy Max
The Narcissistic Personality Disorder is comprised of various distinct forms of behaviors and traits used to control and harm others without remorse and void of empathy.
Audiences learn about the 3 main types of Narcissists - with some acting covertly or overtly. Since Narcissists also exhibit common behaviors and traits that overlap - additional 4 sub-type categories apply to help identify the type of Narcissist one may be dealing with and effective ways to protect oneself.
SPEAKER: Remedy Max
We delve into the psyche of Narcissists to explain why they behave the way they do and are resistant to actually changing their innate manipulative ways.
Audiences receive an inside perspective of how most Narcissists perceive the world and others in their life including their self-serving end goals. Also covered is how different types of Narcissists interpret and respond to rejection, confrontation, being ignored or exposed as well as their retaliatory capacity to avoid.

Valuable Insights to Help Adults Protect Themselves Against Abusive and Dangerous Intimate Relationships
SPEAKER: Remedy Max
Most have heard about the RED FLAGS of an abusive relationship. However what many may not be aware of are the YELLOW FLAGS that controlling and abusive individuals raise in the beginning of a budding new romance.
This presentation identifies how to recognize the YELLOW FLAGS early on and allowing one's head rather than heart to make the informed decision of whether to move forward with the relationship.
SPEAKER: Remedy Max
Incidents of Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) do not just happen once nor in a vacuum. Rather the cycle of abuse is comprised of 4 phases. Each phase follows in consecutive order - increasing in intensity and frequency.
The Honeymoon Phase is most instrumental. It follows the assault phase where the victim is showered with gifts and affection by the abuser appearing remorseful. This phase is just an extension of the abuse manipulating the victim into staying with the abuser.
Remedy Max identifies the different abuses perpetrated against men by their intimate partners and the social reforms needed to afford abused men with equal legal protections and access to social supports.
Society's DV gender biases continue to revictimize men and cause many to suffer in silence and feeling helpless over the situation. Most men also do not report being assaulted by their partner out of fear they will not be believed, they might get arrested and also have their masculinity mocked.
SPEAKER: Remedy Max
Presentation speaks to different emotional and mental abuses in a relationship and the importance of not trivializing this form of abuse by comparing it to the severity of a physical assault.
"Abuse is Abuse" whenever the intended victim is harmed physically, emotionally or mentally. And while physical assaults by a partner can pose serious risk of bodily injury to permanent impairment. The long term effects of psychological trauma are often more debilitating on the victim.
No worries! We are more than happy to create a customized presentation on Domestic Abuse & Intimate Partner Violence Prevention at your upcoming public event.
