What Every Employer Needs to Know Before an Employee's Gambling Addiction Spins Out of Control.
Workshop is designed to help inform employers about the early stages of problem gambling. Commonly referred to as the Yellow Flags that are raised during the early throws of an addiction.
Audience also learns the need for timely intervention and addiction intervention frameworks to afford reasonable workplace accommodations given that addictions are recognized by the Human Rights Code as a disability.
Helping Employees Recognize the Early Warning Signs of Various Behavior Addictions
Workshop is designed to start the dialogue among employees about behavior addictions and how easily these problem behaviors can spiral out of control. Especially since it's common for those affected to be in denial - often until it's too late. The value and benefits of early intervention are also covered.
Participants learn to conduct self-assessments so those who may be in denial can seek out help without shame.
Behavior Addictions can be just as dangerous and deadly as substance abuse if the addict does not enter into recovery.
